Physical Appearance: Short. Other than her cleavage, her height is probably what most people notice first. She's petite and childlike in her 4'11" frame. She has a short bob of blond hair and brilliant blue eyes. Her voice is high pitched and somewhat nasally, but pleasant to listen to. She also has a tremendous singing voice. She prefers bright colors and can usually be seen in oranges, pinks, greens and yellows. When she worked at the Pie Hole, she was often seen in the brightly colored waitress uniforms.

History:At this very moment, Olive Snook is thirty-two years, four months, fifteen days, six hours and twenty-seven seconds old. But she was not always this way. She was once a priviledged child of wealthy parents. They neglected the young girl, and she once ran away with two thieves who weren't quite sure what to do with her. They discovered that they could ransom her back to her parents, although in the end they never got the money. They fell in love with the little girl who was so bubbly and smart. They just couldn't bring themselves to take the money and consequently went to jail for their actions. And when Olive was nine years old, she asked her parents for an Arabian stallion. They laughed, of course, as most parents do. But Olive, being the precocious child she was, decided that she would just dig her way to Arabia and get one herself.

In the end, the blond child discovered a complete dinosaur skeleton and an Arabian royal brought her an Arabian stallion as a trade. When she was older, the seasoned horseback rider became a jockey. She jockeyed for eight years and was quite successful. After the tragic accident that she thought killed one of her fellow jockeys and the death of her horse, the Pie, Olive retired. When she was looking for work, she saw a small restaurant with a pie shell awning called The Pie Hole. She took it as a sign and applied for a job. The owner of The Pie Hole, Ned, has become the object of Olive's affections in recent years and she continued to make advances on the man who was so uncomfortable with emotional attachment. Until Chuck arrived, that is.

All of the sudden, quite out of the blue, Ned introduced her to his girlfriend whom he called Chuck although her real name was Charlotte Charles. Although Olive was crushed, she made an effort to befriend Chuck. Day after day she suffered, watching the way Ned and Chuck looked at each other. She was delighted, however, to note that they never touched. She later learned that Ned was allergic to Chuck, the same way he was allergic to his dog, Digby. She grew to be better friends with Chuck, but could never get over the feeling that she was hiding something. She found out what it was when she started delivering pies to a couple of shut ins in Coeur d'Coeurs. The two women turned out to be the Darling Mermaid Darlings, Lily and Vivian Charles, Chuck's aunts.

Olive was appaled to discover that Chuck faked her death, and although she has asked many times, she is still unsure of the reason. She became rather good friends with Chuck's aunts and at the urging of Chuck has tried to get them out of the house and back into the water where they belonged. It was during a visit to the aunts that Olive discovered that Lily is really Chuck's mother. With her feelings for Ned being kept a secret, the knowledge that Chuck was really alive being kept a secret and now the knowledge that Lily was really Chuck's mother being kept a secret, Olive thought she would burst. In an effort to escape her friends or risk telling one of them any of her many secrets, she went to a convent and sought refuge there for a time. Consequently it was the same convent Lily went to in order to have Chuck.

While at the convent, Olive's belongings were given to the poor and she made a friend in a truffle hunting pig she called Pigby. After finally telling Ned the secret of Chuck's true parentage in a round about way, she felt as if a load had been taken off of her and she felt that she would be able to return to The Pie Hole. Although she still kept secrets, it didn't seem so bad. Eventually she invited herself to help solve crimes with the rest of the gang and earned the nickname Itty Bitty from Emerson Cod, P.I. She has helped with many cases since then and has quite the knack for solving mysteries.

How Others Perceive Your Character: Others perceive Olive as nosey and in the way. She is always trying to help, even if it isn't needed. She can come up with a devious plan in a heartbeat, but she's also incredibly kind. She's good with animals and even if she's a little bit crazy, she's smart.
Beliefs, Convictions, Morals: Olive can be trusted. She will keep a secret, even if it kills her. She's sort of religious, as she lived at a convent for a fair bit, but considering the clothes she wears, she's not too worried about being modest.
Reason(s) for Escaping to Canada: She's secretly following Ned.
